What was once a group of Marines who happened to be musicians, has now become the increasingly successful Alpha Connection. In 1989 four Royal Marine musicians formed a band called Alpha Connection and performed at the odd holiday camp and at a few dinner dances in and around Portsmouth. They soon added the brass section to the band completing the current line up of Alpha Connection. In 1990 the band completed a world record for performing 108 hours non-stop in aid of the NSPCC and was officially entered in the 'Guinness Book of World Records'. Dave Hurst: Drums & percussion, Dave originally from greater Manchester was a professional drummer through-out the 70s playing all styles of music both with bands and as a session musician. As a member of Krazy Dave toured extensively both headlining and as support to quite a few big name bands of that era, he is the founder and manager of Burlesque. They are now all settled in the North of Scotland and have decided to concentrate on the function and wedding scene.
