The
Kasuals |
 |
The
Kasuals got together in the summer of 2008, after a couple
of line-up changes and extensive rehearsals they are now
ready to entertain young & old alike with their own
blend of nostalgia.
They mainly cover songs from the early to mid 1960's but
do slip the odd late 60's early 70's classic in as well
just to keep the slightly younger audiences happy!!! The
band consists of bass, drums, rhythm & lead guitar
and depending on venue or function, their very own percussionist.
They cover songs from, The Searchers, The Fourmost, Billy
J Kramer to Steelers Wheel to name but a few, new songs
are being added on a weekly basis so hopefully there is
something for everyone. They try to cater for all
tastes. The
Kasuals are available for all types of functions, weddings,
birthdays, 60's weekends, cruises etc. If you want to
add that extra sparkle to your event, don't hesitate to
book, The Kasuals. |

New
Amen Corner |
|
| Amen
Corner was one of the biggest influences on the sixties
pop scene to ever come out of Wales. With their own brand
of West Coast (Wales) Music, a mixture of mod psychedelic
power pop, with heavy horns, swirling Hammond organ, the
distinctive voice of Andy Fairweather-Low and their power
house live show made them one of the most exciting bands
around at the time. With million seller hits like “Gin
House”, “Bend Me Shape Me”, “If
Paradise was half as Nice”, “High in the Sky”,
& “Hello Suzie”; they became a household
name in the late sixties. Over the years there have been
many requests for the band to reform but due to circumstance
this will unfortunately never happen. However, as a result
of a long standing friendship between sax man Frogman
Curtis and Alan Jones (one of the original founder member’s)
The New Amen Corner has been formed to keep the memory
and music alive of this legendary band. |

The Piggies |
 |
| Originally formed in 1980, THE PIGGIES were the pioneers of the lookalike/ soundalike age, well before most of the current crop of Tribute Bands were even born. Through constant touring, in the UK and abroad, the band quickly gained a reputation as the most authentic 60s/ Beatles tribute in Britain, with an array of vintage instruments, flamboyant costumes and an attention to detail that, to this day, cannot be rivalled. In 2000/2001 THE PIGGIES starred in their own production ..THE BEATLES REVOLUTION SHOW.. which ran for 17 weeks at the Folkan Theatre in Stockholm
performing to over 50000 people. They also appeared live on Swedish national TV and radio. THE PIGGIES 'CLASSIC GROUPS OF THE 60's SHOW' takes you on magical mystery tour from Merseybeat to The Rolling Stones Hyde Park concert of 1969, taking in The Summer of Love and Flower Power along the way. Artistes portrayed, both musically and visually, include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Cliff and The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and many more. |
