Based in London, Ab Funky are a professional function
band specialising in Soul, Funk, Disco, Pop, Jazz
and Motown classics. We provide Funkadelic live music
to accompany your wedding, party, Bar Mitzvah, promotional
or corporate event. We have our own PA and Lighting.The
musicians are all graduates of the Royal Academy of
Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
in London and collectively perform with a wide variety
of renowned musicians including Jamie Cullum, Jonny
Dankworth & Cleo Laine, the National Youth Jazz
Orchestra, The Heritage Orchestra and the London Jazz
Orchestra. |

Alpha
Connection |

| What
was once a group of Marines who happened to be musicians,
has now become the increasingly successful Alpha Connection.
In 1989 four Royal Marine musicians formed a band called
Alpha Connection and performed at the odd holiday camp
and at a few dinner dances in and around Portsmouth.
They soon added the brass section to the band completing
the current line up of Alpha Connection. In 1990 the
band completed a world record for performing 108 hours
non-stop in aid of the NSPCC and was officially entered
in the 'Guinness Book of World Records'. Alpha Connection
now travel the globe playing for a variety of top corporate
and private clients. |
