This puts e2 leagues above your usual function band and ensures your event will live long in the minds of your guests. e2 are one of the most flexible and versatile bands around and are ideal for weddings, private and corporate parties, large corporate events & awards ceremonies as well as festivals and concerts. They take a sound engineer as standard to all performances no matter how small, but will hire in extra engineers for larger gigs if required, as well as larger sound or lighting rigs (see Options and speak to your agent for more information). e2 also offer an additional full DJ package between sets to keep the party moving, but also include CD background music as standard if the DJ is not required. For lighter jazz or background music during dinner or a drinks reception, the band perform as a trio or quartet who can be booked to perform before the main performance starts.

Electro 80’s formed after all three core members became disillusioned with the “traditional” cabaret club scene. "Red", "Green" and "Blue" had all been active on the circuit in various other bands and decided it was time to pay tribute to the music they had grown up listening to and loved. It was decided early on that the new band would focus on what some consider being the “more serious” side of the eighties and avoid some of the musical moments most of us (and the decade) would rather forget. With this in mind, the band would become an electronica tribute and attempt to recreate some of the classic moments from the early eighties, songs from bands like Depeche Mode, Yazoo,  Gary Numan, Duran Duran, Ultravox, Devo, Soft Cell and The Human League. Emotion was formed and originally called “The Emotions” in 1995 alongside American soul and motown singer Kenny Weathers.
When Kenny returned to the States, The Emotions, winners of many awards, were determined to continue and needed a fitting replacement. After much searching they found the ideal person; ‘Cole’. Not only has Cole filled Kenny’s shoes in the soul & motown department, he’s brought a more varied feel and selection to the show. Cole is a powerful, versatile vocalist and saxophone player with a number of vocal styles. This presented a whole new set of possibilities adding another dimension to an already superb live show band. The long and successful track record of reliability and professionalism of 'The Emotions' is set to continue for a long time to come. The Emotions, felt a slight title change would reflect their new show, so the name ‘Cole & Emotion’ was born. The Show ~ As with most acts at this level the show is based on either one solid 60-70 minute spot, or two 40-45 minute spots approx, and the time of the performance can be worked around critical parts of the evening. It's best to arrange anything special in advance, see advice and FAQs. Cole & Emotion bring a 4.2k pa system and lights including 4 computerised scanners, datamoon and 10k up front flood system.The band aim to get equipment in, and start setup at 6.30pm. It is essential that we do a full sound check to ensure the highest level of quality; we try to keep any disturbance to a minimum. In accordance with musicians union guidelines the performance should be ended by midnight.
