April 1999, Marlo won the final of the BBC 1 TV show
"Get Your Act Together". They are a tremendously
talented 4 piece band performing a huge repertoire of
lively covers from the 60's through to modern chart
hits. |

Masqueraders
|

The
band operates a flexible five to nine piece line-up,
which can include male and/or female lead vocalist
and a full 3-piece brass section. Playing a selection
of the biggest party/feel-good hits from the 60’s
to the present - day charts, the band have an extensive
repertoire of over 100 songs to choose from. A range
of musical styles can be covered, including pop, rock,
disco, jazz and blues. We can tailor the music to
your requirements if, for example, you want a particular
theme, such as an 80’s or 70’s night.
Alternatively, you can trust us to choose the songs
that are most appropriate for the audience and the

Many of the musicians in The Masqueraders have worked
at a high level as session players for many big names
including Tina Turner, Spandau Ballet, Mica Paris,
Bjorn Again, Elton John, Van Morrison and the BBC.

a state of the art and fully self- contained PA and

| This
is a 5 to 9 piece covers band designed specifically
for corporate events and weddings. The full band consists
of vocals, guitar, bass (with vocals), keys(with vocals),
drums and a two piece brass section plus two backing
singers. A very full sound even with the 5 piece option.
The high standard of musicianship combined with live
brass and phenomenal vocals gives the band a sophisticated
sound and an excellent show. Providing a mixture of
motown, soul, disco and pop, the band prides themselves
on having a dynamic and entertaining repertoire, having
drawn on the experience of every band member to make
sure that every song is a audience pleaser. The bands
base price includes 2 x 60mins or 3 x 40mins sets. Should
you wish the band to play for longer, they can provide
an extra set for a small extra cost. This is often used
by clients as a smooth jazz set over dinner, or a swing
set to start off the evening entertainment. The typical
M.I.B set consists mostly of soul, motown, disco and
pop and has been designed to work dynamically from start
to finish. However if you would especially like some
more modern music, rock’n roll or jazz M.I.B can
work some into the set-list. |

based in London, the band has entertained audiences
both home and abroad. Fabulous vocals, plus one of the
funkiest rhythm sections around all add up to a fantastic,
unforgettable occasion. All the music is played live
(real musicians - no backing tracks) and the band's
energy and enthusiasm are infectious - dynamic male
and female vocalists, who always react to the vibe of
crowd, ensure that the sets always look and sound spot-on.
