Oasis |
Definitely
Mightbe |
 |
| DEFINITELY
MIGHTBE don't share the back stage bust ups or sibling
rivalry as the real thing, but they do have a lot in common
when it comes to reproducing the rousing anthems, stage
presence and atmosphere that the originals created. With
over two hours of material to draw from, including all
the hit's from all six albums, live favourites, B-sides
and a couple of Noel's acoustic number's, when the boys
start there's no stopping them. And who wants to stop
when everybody's having a good time? As one pleased punter
said after Definitely Might Be played a gig 200 miles
away, 'I'm going to see the real Oasis in Manchester later
this year and if they are half as good as you guys, I'm
in for a bloody good night!' Lead singer Ian bears an
uncanny resemblance to Liam and has worked as a look-alike
in the UK appearing on Channel 4, Sky TV, Richard and
Judy, HMV in London and has appeared in advertising campaigns
for Q Magazine, Loaded,Royal BankOf Scotland and the National
Press. Ian's latest job sees him starring in the video
for the new single by heavy metal legends MOTORHEAD due
for release in Jan 06. So,as good as the real thing? Well
they,DEFINITELY MIGHTBE! |

successful bands, OASIS. Formed in August 2001, the group
have gone from strength to strength! Originally brought
together by Christian Meadows - the world's biggest Noel
Gallagher fan - they spent six months polishing their
act until they knew they had a strong tight set. After
playing their first gig at the Ram in Mansfield, the group
set about racking up as many gigs as possible. They have
since played at some of the area's biggest venues including
Coyote Wild, the Town Mill and Kirkby's Festival Hall,
and travel to places like Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh,
Birmingham and all up the east coast. Now, confident in
their abilities, with over two hours of classic material,

Oasis |
Soasis |
 |
| Soasis
are a six piece Oasis tribute band. accurate to the finest
detail soasis recreate the real oasis experience with
amazing energy playing all the classic songs as if they
were their own. The band formed at the end of 2005 and
after six weeks of intense rehearsals was ready to play
its first show. The debut gig seemed to be cursed, a massive
power failure all over the Bournemouth area plunged the
town into darkness, only one venue had power so the gig
was quickly rescheduled to the Opera House, despite the
doors opening one and a half hours late a fantastic crowd
queued in the freezing weather to see the debut, the spirit
of the blitz prevailed and everyone was mad for it. By
early January more songs had been added to the set and
the band played to a crowd of 700 people at the Bournemouth
Student Union. |
